ABOUT CLEMMY

Clemmy is a Barcelona-based writer, specialising in food and travel.

 

Her freelance work includes writing for Rough Guides and Footprint guidebooks in countries spanning Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Brazil. She also has had pieces published in the following publications: The Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Condé Nast Traveller (UK), Olive, Women's Health (UK), Food and Travel Magazine, Luxury Travel (Australia), Tatler, Jacada, Lightfoot, Time Out London and Time Out Barcelona.

 

On her travels, she regularly reviews hotels for specialist websites such as i-escape.com and mrandmrssmith.com. 

Before moving to Spain, she spent five years working in Argentina as Editor of Time Out Buenos Aires magazine and the brand’s guidebook. During this time, she was regularly commissioned as a copywriter and translator for international advertising and branding agency, Conway+Partners.

Clemmy continues to work as a freelance copywriter for agencies with a focus on real estate (such as Dubai-based RUYA and UK-based Fabrica), as well as travel and hospitality names such as Travelzoo, onefinestay and Oasis Collections. She has also been contracted for project work for Google.
